System Requirements
What are the minimum requirements to be able to use AOMrecord?
- A Windows compatible PC with a minimum clock frequency of 400 MHz and approx. 256 MB memory.
- An up-to-date version of Microsoft Windows.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or better a newer version.
- If you want to use the WMA encoding technologies, you need the Windows Media Encoder, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft website for free. Please don't confuse the Windows Media Encoder with the Windows Media Player! The encoder complements the player and makes the functions available that are needed to encode audio and video data.
- Additionally I recommend to use the Windows Media Player 9.
- If you want to produce MP3 audio data, you need a MP3 encoder. Because this format is not available royalty free in all countries, it is not included in AOMrecord. There is information and sources for free downloads inside AOMrecord's help files.
